 Year Three!For the past two years, Rerip.com has presented the “Future of Surfing” event to advance sustainability in surfing while giving back to the community. While working closely with Ned McMahon, leader in the green surfboard movement, (now with Malama Composites), the event has highlighted evolving ideas and environmentally focused practices in the surf industry. The purpose of the event is to collaboratively celebrate these efforts and to improve the future of surfing. |

 What do I Bring? All attendees who donate a used and rideable surfboard receive an event coupon redeemable for product from event sponsors. Coupons are redeemable at vendor booths for surf blanks, art, shoes, sandals, and other donated surf gear.

 What Can I Buy? Donated boards will be resold at the event with proceeds benefiting the Solana Beach Junior Lifeguard Program. There will be MANY MANY deals on quality used boards. Also, local vendors will showcase their products and services. |
 Watch Wade Paint... Every year, local artist Wade Koniakowsky paints on the old boards to increase their value. This year, Wade will be painting a large ocean scene, using multiple used surboards as his canvas.

 Listen to Shapers.... Last year, shaper Jake Moss talked about his designs, the enviornment, and state of the industry. He was in good company along with Craig Hollingsworth, Steve Pendarias, and Gary Linden.

 Get a Massage.... Ryan from Blue Star Body Lounge came out and gave free massages all day long!
